The years of the economic miracle brought growing prosperity for many. The rapid spread of the car opened up new opportuni ties and business areas for the brand of chemical cleaning and care products: the first range of NIGRIN car care products was introduced in 1963 - the beginning of NIGRIN's "younger" success story as a specialist for the appearance, protection and value retention of "Germany's favorite child" … In 1974, we, today's MTS GmbH & Co. KG, took over all recipes, production rights and protected NIGRIN trademarks - and with them the busy spirit and rock-solid values of the founder and brand. This is how the history of the traditional NIGRIN brand began in 1896. Dr. Carl Gentner realized how im portant a popular distinguishing feature is for trust and success with customers. He used the chimney sweep, universally regar ded as a "lucky charm", as a trademark for his various advertising campaigns, some of which were spectacular for the time. For ex ample, for its oversized stilt men in chimney sweep outfits, which made the brand and products famous in the city and country. Not least, they established NIGRIN as one of the most important shoe polish brands of the 1920s to 1940s in Germany. In 1896 he offered his successful product for the first time with the chimney sweep as a trademark - the birth of today's traditio nal brand NIGRIN.
