We at FISCHER love cycling. It strengthens the immune system and as soon as we sit on the saddle we feel alive and boundless, or in short – happy all round! This feeling of happiness drives us every day anew to develop our pedelecs further piece by piece, but also to leave well-trodden paths and "rethink cycling". This results in a broad product range consisting of selectively improved, already proven models and completely newly designed bikes. We are convinced that quality pedelecs should not be a luxury, but should be affordable for everyone. In order to find the right pedelec for your individual needs, we have built up a range that includes various model series: TERRA for maximum versatility, MONTIS for high-altitude adventures, CITA for exploring the urban jungle. On the following pages, we invite you to take a deep dive into the FISCHER product world and take a first look at, among other things, the two new Junior models. A thoroughly comfortable city pedelec: with a low step-through for easy mounting and dismounting, an upright seating position that is easy on the back and suspension elements such as the saddle support and fork. The battery located under the luggage rack is visually inconspicuous and impresses with ease of use. The low-maintenance 3-speed hub gears are easy to maintain.

Beautiful vintage pedelec with generous baskets for a fun shopping trip. The battery is concealed by the rattan-look luggage carrier basket and the discreet front motor is also barely noticeable. The seating position is pleasantly upright and offers a lot of comfort with a soft gel saddle and curved handle bars. The 3-speed hub gears and coaster brake are classic and tried and tested; in addition, there are rim brakes and extras such as LED permanent lights and a frame lock.

If you don't want to do without a tidy look for your e-city bike, then this low step-through model is the right choice. Balanced and almost noiseless, the sporty Brose Drive C mid-mounted motor powers the city pedelec. Thanks to the large 504 Wh battery, even extended bike tours are no problem. Safety through visibility

Many car drivers are still not used to the higher speeds of pedelecs, so there are dangerous situations at roundabouts or junctions. A bright light system, conspicuous clothing and, if neces sary, reflective utensils are therefore particularly important for your own safety in autumn and winter. Just take a look at our online shop.

Battery maintenance

Adapted cycling style

You should handle the expensive power storage unit with care! Complete discharges should be avoided; rather, the battery should be charged from time to time – such partial charges only have a proportional influence on the number of maxi mum charging cycles. When outside temperatures are in the single digits, we recommend storing the battery in the garage or cellar. The battery should also not be exposed to excessive heat. If you spray your bike down with a garden hose, remove the battery beforehand so that no water is forced inside.

Safely locked up

25 km/h is no speed for experienced cyclists, but anyone who has only ridden a city bike at a leisurely pace could be challenged at this speed. For starters, it is therefore advisable not to push the e-drive to the limit and to ride at low assistance levels. You also have to get used to modern braking systems – if you ride too fast and then decelerate too hard, you could get into trouble!

Pedelecs are valuable and coveted. A high-quality U-lock or folding lock is therefore indispensable when the bike is parked for everyday use. However, care should also be taken when making a short stop at the bakery – here a fixed frame lock provides more flexibility. Do e-bikes fit on bike racks?

Our hitch carrier for the safe transport of your pedelec is available in our online shop. Up to two pedelecs can be transported comfortably. With other car bicycle carriers, care must be taken that the pedelec does not exceed the permissible load capacity (often limited to 20 kg), because pedelecs are usually significantly heavier than conventional bicycles.

Drive power efficient

If you want to get the most out of your battery life, you can save energy by adapting your cyclingstyle. Racing starts in the highest assistance level should be avoided; on uphill gradients, you should have a high pedalling frequency and select a low gear, while when cruising on level ground, you should select a lower assistance level.
